Self-Care when it matters most!
CBD is about self-care when it matters most, both mentally and physically. We often overlook self-care, as we tend to be too busy taking care of everyone and everything else. How many times have we said …I will go for a walk, take a bath or read that book once I am done cleaning the house or finishing that proposal for work, right? The walk, bath and book never seem to happen. We are so caught up in the world of helping others that there seems to always be something keeping us from doing what we need to do to take care of ourselves. Self-care varies from person to person and it can vary daily based on what we need on that particular day. By ignoring your needs on a daily basis and neglecting to do what you need to be healthy, mentally and physically you wear your body down. Not taking care of yourself makes you no good for anyone else. Think of what that flight attendant says in the preflight instructions every time you get on an airplane. When the oxygen masks drop, put yours on first then help others. Life is like that, you need to take care of yourself first before you can helps others.
